Today, after reading Angela's blog, I realised how useful a blog is for a person to express his or her feelings. At first, she just showed me her blog to let me read something from it. After that, I started to read more and more and more... and I couldnt stop! From the start, I wasn't really interested in blogging. Especially after reading Rockson's and XiaXue's blog, I concluded that a blog wasn't much of a use because you would only end up getting criticised for writing stuff which other people viewed as "wrong"! But now, I think that if people want to comment on anything, its also their own mouth what! End of the day, this blog still belongs to me (I think Rockson would agree with me on this!) and I am happy to share my memories with my family, friends and loved one. That is why, I have decided to have my own blog.

In case you were wondering why I named my blog address "Melmories", its because my name is Mel (in short) and the things that are going to be inside this blog would all be my memories and nothing other than that.
Yesterday I just booked an appointment to take up Manual driving lessons here in Australia. (Dont worry, I'm Sporean) I have already got my Probational license for Auto. Now I wanna upgrade to a Manual license because I heard that Singapore has changed their driving law to both Manual and Auto car license also available! Sipeh jialat... I still thought I could convert my Auto license to Manual license in Spore at first. Now that the laws have changed, I got to spend money and upgrade my stupid license! Never mind, so back to the topic, I made the booking for Monday 4.20pm (which is tommorrow lor). Dad gave me $400 for this month's allowance and for external CD/DVD burner drive (which costs $188.90) that I requested for. In the end, I am now using the external drive's money to pay for my manual lessons instead. If I pay for 5 lessons in advance, it would be $190, so i got to choose between the external drive and the Manual license (because they are going to be costing me the same price). I am going for a test on Monday so that the instructress can see how good am I because I told her I roughly know how to drive a manual car already. I just want to take a few lessons to brush up on my skills and go for the driving test and get the freaking license! Why leh? Because of the "changed law" lor. What to do... My boyfriend told me that I should use the money for the external drive because my laptop is too full of crap and it might crash if I dont burn all my stuff into CDs. My friends, on the other hand, ask me to take up manual lessons instead because in spore you have to pay at least $1000+ to get a driving license. In addition to that, they also said that I could buy a cheaper and more high-tech external drive for my laptop in spore (e.g Sim Lim). So in exchange for the upgrade to a manual license, I got to risk my laptop content's safety!
Which is more worth it?
Still procrastinating cause I havent used the money yet... *sigh*
