I absolutely hate Financial Management.---
Now, what shall I say? I wanna say that I'm so sick of love songs & I'm so tired of tears. Guess I'll just forget about the whole love dating game till I really find someone worth spending my time on, caring for, cooking for, fussing around for & loving for.
What's the point of loving someone and doing everything you can to please him when he is just enjoying the fruits of your labour at your expense? It should be the other way round isn't it? HA.
In the meantime, I'll just forget about the whole love dating game & just enjoy the wonderful time I have with the company of my lovely friends, chilling out, chatting while having italian coffee (...what a bliss!), and of course, concentrating on my new job in Myer Indoooroopilly - SHISEIDO. Yes, I've finally achieved being a beauty consultant after wishing for so long. And yes, dreams do come true if you put in the effort (or should I say hell alot of effort) and not just sit around and wait for things to happen. =)
You've got to go through alot of rejections before you finally attain what you want.
During this whole semester of not blogging, I'll like to highlight that, I actually opened my eyes to alot of things which I was previously oblivious of. Things like, friends who would really be there for you (...you can really see it, not rocket science to figure out who's the shark and who's the fish?), happenings that make you realise how important certain people are to you (...like your family, which many kids nowadays take for granted). I realised that kids like us nowadays, especially us overseas students, only miss their parents whenever they see their friends chatting or webcamming with their parents or extended family members, someone in their friend's family has passed away (...and they start getting worried about their own) and/or they are short of funds and need reimbursements asap. Chew on that.
Well sad to say, I'm definitely one of them. Sad yes, but I do love them from the bottom of my heart. I guess talking ain't enough. Actions still speaks louder than words.
Back to friends, I guess you can see who are the ones who are considered as friends. Probably, if you add the word - "good" to the word "friends", you'll probably need more than just the few basics I'm going to be showing you as below. I seriously cannot more than stress a few lessons I've learnt during this period of time.
(Good) Friends:
1) they don't say out what they do for you because they do it out of love
2) they'll do things for you without question in exclusion of all others
3) they don't expect anything in return, & they really don't (in fact, you'll just love them even more because of that.)
4) they're always happy to welcome you with their open arms (you can feel it.)
5) they don't bring you down when you're at your lowest neither & they'll give you support when you need it most
6) the most important thing - you don't need to tell them what you're thinking & they just know it. (...happens to me all the time. with regards to my bestie girlfriend).
7) last but not least, they tell you in your face (still with tact because they love you) when they think you made a mistake. They don't tell you to change but they advise you & help you along the way.
My bestie girlfriend (Jeannette), My brother (Matthew), My pretty mum, My lovely dad & me.
