Myer management gave me feedback today in regards to my leave back to Singapore. Apparently, the earliest I can fly is the 30th of January or... resign. The reason why I'm staying in Brisbane for December is because of the xmas sales. The reason why they need me to stay for January as well is because of Gift-with-purchase sales. Hello people! I need to get HOME too!
Worse thing is, Shiseido will only let me know when my Shiseido training in February would be - to undergo training for 5 days and receive my certificate as a certified beauty consultant.
What does that leave me with? Last year, before I got this job, I had a whole 3 bloody damn months to be in Singapore & have my fun. What happened to this year? Now all I'm pining for is not even a month but to spend the minimum of 15 days of Chinese New Year in Singapore, or even more, hopefully. *with crossed fingers & toes*
Tomorrow is Klub Kandy, the last Asian dance party this year for Uni students. Tomorrow is the day that Johan flies back to Singapore. Tomorrow is the last day my bestie gf would be in Brisbane. Yesterday I dreamt of my dearest. Today I dreamt of my dearest and my bestie girlfriend. She hasn't even gone yet and I've already started to dream of her. What'd happen when she really flies off on Tuesday... Miss my Ah mei too. *screams*
I dread xmas. I gotta wrap xmas gifts everyday at work, making people happy, seeing everyone happily exchanging xmas gifts, telling me their pre-xmas plans & stories, couples holding hands, kissing under the mistletoe perhaps. I wanna go home to my dearest. What is xmas without your loved one...
I'm at my wits end for once in my life. Never had I felt so lost in direction before. Hope I didn't make the wrong choice of staying to satisfy my job obligations. If not for my passion for my job, things would have been much easier.
