Lots of kisses & huggs for her at midnight, okayy.. I was half an hour late to surprising her with chocolate fudge brownies with lit sparkles I rushed to get from Night Owl. She was tearfully touched. Hee~ mission accomplished.

The Birthday girl, who wanted a childish theme, where everyone must come dressed as a cartoon character and/or an action hero. I'm not sure what she came as though, neither does she. Ironic.

Well, it sure was hell of a fun night.

Now, as you all know, Brisbane is kinda like a dead town after 5pm. Therefore, we can only eat at either this place in Chinatown called Cybercity, Pancake house OR sip your favourite italian coffee at La Dolce Vita at Milton - which means "The sweet life" in Italian.

Cybercity totally sucks.

Pancake house provided much better food in terms of quality and all but now it has went all the way downnnnnnn... and not forgetting... their service sucks to the core. You know WHY? Cuz I left my new Sony T2 Camera on the table & none of them, yes NONE of them found it. Amazing huh? At 12am in the morning, with only a few customers sitting around, the staff could not find a WHITE camera that was misplaced on the table.

Me: Hello, May I enquire if any of your staff has found a white Sony camera that I've misplaced a few days ago?

Manager: Hold on, lemme check for you.

(whisperings... pause... scruffling sounds)

Manager: Erm, unfortunately, none of my staff has seen your camera around here. It hasn't been found in the "lost and found" box either.

(...paused, waiting for him to at least have the courtesy to further investigate of some sort.. but no. I had to initiate it myself of course. cuz their service totally sucks.)

Me: Oh, I see. Could you at least take down my number and name and paste it on your billboard or something so if anyone of your staff or customers has seen it, could return it to me?

Manager: Oh sure, why not. (and I BET he just chucked that piece of paper aside without taking a second look at it and just thought to himself, "freaking asians... losing their bloody new camera, who wouldn't take it? I WOULD.)

THE END. (I was so totally pissed pissed PISSED.)

However! My dearest honey bought me the exact same one again! :D Awesome! Thanks dear!

FUCK YOU PANCAKE HOUSE. I swore never to go back there EVER AGAIN.

Hey, we're in PANCAKE HOUSE, AGAIN.
IF it was not for my homie's grumbling stomach, I would have kicked their darn asses!

I seriously would rather, hang out & chill with a few cocktails or beers in the city...
with a few good pals...
with my one of my favourite mocktails of the night - sunshine treat.
...or even have a plate of good steak (preferably with gravy on it minus the salad!)

However, it still tastes just as GOOOD cos it's been cooked with lots of LOVE! :D
